I had a friend who put a £10 bet on a horse at the Cheltenham Festival once because he liked the shape of the (female) jockey's backside, she won at 100 to 1 !

I think Dawn Approach will be hard to beat. So either back it or choose another at a good each way price and find a bookies offering money back against Dawn Approach winning.

That's what I've done. If mine wins i win, if mine loses to the favourite I lose nothing.
I've backed Chopin e/w, but not holding my breath. Good luck

Well I let wife select a horse and picked ...coz the name sounded good ...

I forgot to bet, I didn't even realise it was on today until earlier - seems to have come round quick - but I never win anything anyway, I bet because I like their names :-)
