I thought that I would ask what you are allergic to, but did not know which category it should be put. If it is right, all well and good. If not, no spoony award to myself.

My allergies include salt, banana, garlic, beetroot, vinegar, rye-grass, and moths.

The last is the strangest, as they make me itch terribly, and is a good indicator for me to know that a moth is somewhere in the house. What are your allergies?

Many thanks in advance.

I must be alergic to wood! I could never have a wooden mixing spoon in my house. I can never remember holding a lolly stick in my hand, I have to wrap it in the wrapper to hold it, because i get covered in goose pimples. It seems to be rough wood only, drives me crackers. lol

None that I know of, thankfully.

Desky other antibiotics are available.

Maj - not a fan of awards ceremonies myself.
It's all good fun :)

I'm allergic to kiwi fruit as well, made my lips and throat tingle !
I have a few intolerances but they wouldn't kill me, just bloat me etc ;)

Very fortunate not to have life threatening allergies, that must be a nightmare.
It does seem strange having lolly sticks as my most dreaded thing to touch!
It has effected me all my life and have had family waving sticks in front of me to see the mass of goose pimples that appear. Its laughable to them but not to me
If I ever see anyone sucking a lolly stick--thats murder.
I have to turn away, i cant watch. lol.
Cat hair, horse hair (very bad), some trees/grasses/pollens, apples, some nuts. All were diagnosed by skin prick or blood tests at hospital.

I can't tolerate sulfa drugs, I turned very pink when I was given septrin when I was little, remember being dragged to an emergency doctors appointment as they were worried I might have scarlet fever!?!?!

I have to be careful of things like kiwi, cherries and strawberries as they make my mouth go all funny.

I'm allergic to Dove products too. I actually did the trial for them when they were testing the shampoo and conditioner. I told them the products made my head itch and they said "nobody else has had a problem with them..."
Spoonboy, you are so strange. :)
Penicillin; plasters; talcum powder; green washing up liquid, nylon, green shampoo; strawberries, red cabbage, beetroot , red onions, cherry tomatoes, seafood, sun.
Radox makes me itch badly. Not life threatening though. Penicillin on other hand is. What confuses me is, Why did this allergy appear when I was about 51? Anyone know?
perfumes, cigarette smoke , bee stings, horsefly stings, nettles, straw, probably lots more that i have forgotten about
i only developed an allergy to penicillin when i was 22 and my mum thinks i had definately had it before that, but my face swelled up like a balloon and i was covered in purple blotches. I've never had penicillin since, but maybe you had never had it before, i have an sos talisman but i never wear it which is stupid, but my skin is irritated by any chain around my neck

Yes, Society. The stranger the better. One could say with a screw loose, apparently, I could be cross-threaded!!

An extra thank you for all other posts/threads.

Explain Methyl how my replies are "offensive": I am merely defending my allergies, if that is what you are pointing at, as being true. Other than that, there is a definite banter with some good people on here that cannot be seen as such, surely!
Question Author
To clarify my allergy to moths - they have a powder on their wings, and it must be that I am allergic to when they fly around.
