I had mine one month ago today. I now have burning pain just to one side of the scar, bilaterally. And resumption of bleeding, though it had all but ceased.
The wound is healing well and I assume the above symptoms are nerve endings reforming, stitches dissolving and internal healing.

Anyone any personal experience or knowledge?

Exactly.

Ta sqad - just looking for reassurance I suppose x

In all other aspects I feel very well (though with insomnia and night sweats - but that's the lack of ovaries I presume). And yesterday's awful event has laid on my mind very heavily.
I know! I know!

What's the medical term for the noise when someone sticks their tongue out childishly, and blows a raspberry?

Well, that's what I'm doing....

(Tongue in cheek, so it's not quite the right noise, but you get my meaning. :-)
Cunilingus?

Pssst - keep this quiet sqad, or I will be in the firing line for lots of smutty comments (although this is in 'health' and it is a genuine statement) - I have been surprised to find that I have had an awful (?!) lot of erotic dreams since my op - you'd think it would be the other way round? I am not complaining.
:-)

All I can say us, if this carries on, I will not be needing any HRT (and Plaid Cymru will have to watch out and eat up his greens.....).
LOL......

Seriously, I have.

It's been a rather unexpected, though quite lovely side effect I have to say. X
