Don't know if I'm being a bit thick, but is there no Premier League football on the weekend of 16th and 17th feb?

Thanks for any replies.

For football fixtures all over Europe I recommend soccerway as a web site. They cater for everyone, from elite premier leagues right down to non-league football, and are invaluable when planning football trips to other countries.

European fixtures?
no England match either so that's strange
Its the next round of Champions League/Europa League. Although these matches are played midweek, it isnt uncommon to clear the league fixtures. Even teams not competing in Europe get a week off!

Hmmm, European matches, didn't think of those, do the play them at the weekend?

I suppose what I'm asking is, are there any big games going on that weekend? I've checked the Sky Sports website and nothing is showing for that weekend which seems unusual, is there anywhere else I should look?

Not much on ESPN, except 5th round of FA cup, Chelsea are not in that are they?
It's the Fifth round of the F.A. cup and most premier league teams would be expected to still be in it.

Thank you jd, a football free weekend, yay.
There you go, FA cup 5th round (I didnt google so I apologise for my guess which was in accurate!!)
>>>and most premier league teams would be expected to still be in it.

Though 13 Premier clubs have already gone out, after only 2 rounds (3rd and 4th)

Only Man U, Arsenal, Man C, Everton, Wigan and Reading still definately in, with Chelsea still to replay against Brentford.
Question Author
Bugger, so there's still a chance Chelsea could get in. Is there anyway I could find out if they will play the saturday or the sunday, if the games are played both days that is.

Thanks Duncer, found what I needed, Chelsea are playing on the Sunday.
In fact Chelsea are playing their 4th Round replay at home against Brentford on the Sunday, while everyone else will be playing the 5th round on that weekend.
