Have Forgotten How To

download photo's from the camera, it's annoying i must say.
I haven't done it very often, and not even sure where the camera manual is.
I have a Olympus XD card which slots into the front of the computer, clean forgotten the rest, and there are no prompts on screen to remind me.

Shove it in the hole.
Double-click on "Computer" ("My computer" in XP), it will appear as another drive
Double click and you'll see folders, one of them (I think its called DCIM) will contain the photos. Drag them to whereever you want them on hard disk. Select individual pics with a click, selected pics by ctrl+click or a range by clicking the first and shift-clicking the last.

thanks will give it a go, i think i was heading there any way but will go back and have another look.

seems to have worked, though i have loads of pictures, not all in the one place, x x
