How Can I Change My Email Address On My Profile?

when I joined AB I used a throwaway email address as I was unsure what sort of site it was and wanted to avoid a load of Spam. I would now like to change my email address to my normal one so I can get an Avatar. I can't find a link on my profile to do this so do I have to contact Admin ? Cheers!

I would Email the Ed if I were you and see what he / she says.

It's in the edit profile section, just click on my profile under the Answer Bank logo. I've done it a few times without any problems.

Go into My profile - then 'Edit my profile' and put a new email address in. I did it.

Yeah, you have to beware that AB. Ever since I subscribed to a thread I've been inundated.

You can easily 'unsubscribe' to (or is it from?) threads, though.

Go back onto the thread that you subscribed to and click the 'unsubscribe' button.
I think also now we might be subscribed automatically to our own threads unless we change something in our profile

If you click on Edit My Profile. there is a line that says "Subscribe to all my own questions. If it's checked you will receive emails when replies are received. Untick it if you don't want to get them automatically
