I am fed up having to blow dry and then use straighteners and came across a kit called got2b play it straight. I have read mixed reviewsnd just wondered if anyone on here had tried it, and if so, is it any good? TIA

Ps, if you really can't stretch to it, John Frieda's 3 day straight isn't too bad. It's a spray you use after washing. You still need to straighten, but if you can last 3 days without washing your hair, the results last pretty well and you can get away with not having to straighten every day.

I haven't tried that one, but I did use a similar one about a year ago. Big mistake. It took hours and it totally wrecked my hair - I had to get it cut and spend a fortune on conditioning treatments just to get it half decent, it was completely fried. And it was still curly! If you can afford it, go for a brazilian blow dry - groupon and wowcher sometimes do offers. It's a lot dearer than the kit but worth it. I've had 2 and they leave your hair so shiny and healthy.
From someone who has manic curls, I agree with karenmac...I have never tried the kit you have mentioned but I have had many Brazillian Blow Drys and they work wonders with my hair.

Thanks for your replies. I had a feeling that was going to be the answer. Unfortunately, I can't afford a brazilian blow dry:(
Like I say cm, sign up for groupon and wowcher. I got a wowcher a couple of months ago for a bbd and a cut for 50 quid - now considering it costs the best part of 30 for a cut at most hairdressers these days, it was a brilliant bargain.

Is it sad that I am sniggering at Brazilian blow dry?

Thanks karenmac60. I do like John Frieda's products, so I think I'll give that a go!
