Can any one please tell me why my printer tells me my black ink cartridge is missing when I try to print anything on my printer? I know I don't need a new cartridge. I have tried taking it out and putting it in again but I still get the same message. hollytree

Are you using the correct cartridge, or is it a compatible one? Remove cartridge and clean the electrical contacts on the back and on the printer with something like meths and re-fit.
