I booked to go to an event in may , but it was cancelled with no other date offered. i emailed and asked when it would be rescheduled, was told a date would be available soon. Still no date so i sent an email to the company involved asking for a refund as they were holding onto my money without me knowing even if there was to be another date given and the email was bounced back saying it was permanently unavailable, so i messaged the person through facebook but got no replies. so any advice about next step would be appreciated
TIA

treetops,

Is that a fare term?

Although I couldn't say with any curtenty, I understood that if a term was blatently unfare it was deemed void!!???

In this case no refunds is a bit unfare.

Hi Lozzer

did you ever get your money back? go to trading standards, there are approx 20 of us in the same situation with Steve Reeves at the moment, a charity event we paid for tickets for was cancelled and we are struggling to get refunds. Would be interested in knowing how you got on.

lynsey this man is a charlatan hiding behind terms and conditions, contacted trading standards but heard nothing, have you had any success?
i did get money back after putting in a claim with paypal and threatening the press but there are many more people in the same situation. Please contact me on [email protected] so i can update you and explain what is being done to take this man down!
