The actual procedure is about 20 minutes and you may get a bit of tummy cramp and bloating afterwards but they will tell you on discharge what to look for. Soon be over - good luck.

It's probably not the most comfortable thing you'll ever do impact5, but it doesn't hurt and the drugs are good.

many thanks it has sorted me out a little
If you do mean flexible sigmoidoscopy then it is no big deal........at worst uncomfortable at best......fine. perhaps a little bloating, but nothing to worry about.
