I remember hearing a story many years ago that there was an episode of Star Trek which had never been shown in Britain because part of the dialogue referred to "peace in Northern Ireland".
Has anyone else heard of this or can shed me light on it, or is it just an urban legend.
Thanks in anticipation

oh I love a bit of star trek and stargate (Atlantis was my fav.)not enough sci fi on general tv.
three episodes of the original series were not shown by the BBC until the 1990s:-

"Miri" - for being too intense (the BBC considered Star Trek to be children's fare)

"Whom Gods Destroy" and "Plato's Stepchildren", because they were (according to the BBC) complete rubbish.
