Recently I came across the story of God justifying Himself to Gabriel as He creates Wales, culminating in "wait till you see the neighbours I've given them". I can't find a version that's actually in Welsh, though.

Here it is again with corrections to typos:
Ar y dechrau trododd Yr Arglwydd Duw Hollalluog i'r Archangel Gabriel a dweud:

Pobol (pobl) - people. (Do they not show Pobol y Cwm in your area?)
Yn ogystal ( in addition to)
ledled (throughout - got this off news and weather forecasts -"bydd yn wlyb ledled yr wlad heddiw" - it will be rainy across the country today

Seldrem (layer) I looked up, not sure if it's correct.

The BBC Wales site used to host a Welsh language board which was excellent as learners could get help from native Welsh speakers. There was one poster who was absolutely brilliant at explaining some of the more obscure aspects of the language. Unfortunately it was closed down last year due to lack of use! There were posters as far afield as the US and Australia, who must miss it even more than those of us living in England. The beauty of Welsh is that once you crack the system of mutations it is a very simply structured language, in which you can literally translate word for word from English to Welsh and vice versa in most cases.
