On the main screen which lists
My Computer and other folders etc in the LH column.
In the centre column - the usual array of folders and files,

suddenly in a RH panel I now get' 'Select a file to preview' or 'No preview available'. How to get rid of the preview panel which I've never seen till today?

prev My pc is running video slowly, is it bandwidth? just got 1gb of memory but thats not done the trick, i dont have a lot of space left on my hard drive 1% so freeing up some space ? will that work?
  
next transfer music from itunes to windows media player....how?!

above it on the right in one of the bars is a box coloured turquoise and white (there's a question mark to the right). Just click on it to uncheck and that should remove the preview. I'm guessing you mean Windows 7?

Have just found out how to reverse this unasked for facility.
