In the latest ` yours ` mag a feature for joint pain (not an ad ) recommended Litozin joint health capsules. Her story seemed really inspiring and wondered if anyone else had tried these. They are normally price about £20 for 120 of which you take 6 per day but on offer in Boots at the moment for £18.

Hi TheOtherHalf. It seems to be just Rosehip. Perhaps rosehip syrup would be cheaper? Although it does mention that some people are allergic to Rosehips. It seems very expensive to me.

Not an Ad?..........in "Yours"

Never heard of it and have never seen any properly conducted scientific trials.
A quick Google seems to indicate it isn't harmful, I can't comment on it's efficacy though. I did find you can get it much cheaper than the Boots price though.

Garfookle.

Thanks, I am not one for Googling.......if I haven't heard of it, then it is not significant ;-)

That link that you gave is to a trial that is not yet completed......i.e no conclusion can be drawn from it.

Thanks all. I have tried glucosomine but with no joy Im afraid. I was wondering whether to give it a go. It isnt marked as a advertisement in the mag, its a story about a woman with joint problems and this was mentioned.
hi OTH. I used to sell it to a few regular customers where I used to work. One of the little dears swore by it as she had begun knitting again. But not sure it would work for everyone. They were £19.99 a tub and were on 3 for 2. I believe Boots brought there own version out too!!I do remember it being featured by Dr Hilary on Good Morning TV!! The selling point was that it was natural and could be taken alongside any other medication! placebo / painkiller????
