boxtops, I know it's easy to Google but I might get an Answer from a Psysician...
Used for travel sickness, side effects are mainly sedation/drowsiness (sleepy)
Phenergan is an antihistamine.........used for allergies and is the best antihistamine, but unfortunately has quite sever side effects of drowsiness, so much so that it is used now far more for it;s side effects than it's antihistamine properties....e.g air sickness, sea sickness and insomnia.
I had it for hayfever ....taken at night...knocks me right out x
good for sedation/night use to sleep in those who do not wish to use antidepressants/sedatives. they will make you very drowsy, leave you with a 'hangover' in the morning and a very dry mouth!
i don't think any physicians come here.
A few years ago when my daughter lived in the Czech Republic she was amazed how many parents used it as a sleeping draught for their children.
bednobs..........really?
My thoughts also Sqad.
not "openly"? Perhaps some people who come into b+s are, but i can't think of anyone?
although perhaps i have baby brain? Who are they?
bednobs I can think of two........perhaps three. Me, slaney and Lazygun.
i thought you were a surgeon - i didn't realise you were a physician too.
I thought lazygun was some sort of biochemist/scientist not a physician
bednobs...ALL medically qualified doctors qualify as "Physicians and Surgeons" what they do after that is a different matter.
