I am currently accessing AB with Firefox !
Using Windows 7 Home Premium.
ISP = Virgin, which is very fast.
All Windows Updates are bang up to date.
Browser Cache cleared.
Painfully slow even accessing site with IE9, afterwards it's very sluggish and unresponsive and often freezes.
There is a Problem somewhere ED which has been ongoing for some time.
Other sites seem to be OK

Unsure about IE9, I have IE8 at work and it is incredibly slow at downloading a page from this site, far far worse than any other site I visit. (IIRC the home PC wasn't being a lot speedier although I can't recall what that is, IE9 I'd guess.)

That said Firefox at work just brings up a zoomed out view. Too small to read. Unsure if that is a website issue or to do with Firefox apparently not being able to update plug-ins, for whatever reason.

This is the worst response time that I have come across on AB since I have been a Member.
Firefox is sluggish and IE9 is virtually dead
Other sites are fine
I keep being told the ab server is not responding. This is on Safari.
Firefox is bad, so is Chrome; but worst of all is IE.

Ron.
Same as ladybirder, only on IE9.
Having problems with safari also.
I was looking through the crossword section history, because search was not working, and noticed that references to a certain paper had been deleted, sounds like "eye", wondered if any connection.
