Advice please Printer shows message 'worn photoconductor' This colour printer has only occasional use but is well out of guarantee. Can ayone advise whether replacing a worn photoconductor is expensive or worthwhile

Thanks Chuck Have looked up the link and new conductor way out my price bracket EBay are offering photoconductor drum unit reset chip for just £15.24. Is this likely to sort the problem and will I be able to fit myself if so - your further advice would be much appreciated otherwise will have to dispose of printer

ChuckFickens really grateful for your advice - bought new chip from EBay only £16 and worked a treat, could not have afforded £100++ for new conductor. Advised by supplier to empty waste toner with care !! I thought it would never stop coming out. Can you possibly tell me if this is something which should be done on a regular basis? I don't think it is in the instructions but wonder if it caused the problem.
