Although I have no doubt it IS NINTENDOITIS, I couldn't find any internet ref to that - only NINTENDOnITIS.

Similarly, can't get wordplay for a number of items, even though happy with answers via Chambers e.g.

31 can see HAL or HALL and ALOO but can't complete the wordplay. Where do the meat and eggs come in?

Hallal is properly prepared meat and oo for eggs.

I also could not see red as rubbish but the full answer does mean tabloids.

OK, so double play. Hall (Dinner) and Aloo (Potato), Hallal (meat) + OO (eggs). Makes the Henry (Hal?) a bit spurious unless lalloo means something. Oh no. Henry is a reference to Fielding.
