Skyrim help? *Possible spoilers*

As a part of the main storyline, I was asked to talk to either Esbern, Parthonax or Arthorg (The Greybeards Guy, however you spell his name). I chose to talk to Parthonax, who told me that I must go to Dragonsreach to try and capture a dragon as bait for Alduin.
I did this, and the Jarl told me that I must convince the leaders of the Stormcloaks and the Imperials to go to a peace council. I successfully did this with the Imperial leader, but I am a member of the Stormcloaks. This means that whenever I talk to the Stormcloak leader, that I am told to go and do his side quest. However, whenever I try and do this, the person who I must speak to simply expresses his amazement at me having convinced the leader of the Stormcloaks to go to the peace meeting, which I haven't done yet. I was wondering if anyone had had this problem, and how to fix it?

do the stormcloak missions forist maybe. i chose imperials so i cant really help. sorry.

Ive got two missions that i cannot complete due to glitches, very annoying but im hoping they will do an update/patch to resolve these, other than that its a cracking game!

Thanks for the link Daisho, really helped and I'll try it. I've tried Sith but it won't let me, that's the problem :(. And yeah Snooper it's so frustrating, brilliant game though!
