Hi,

My husband got a mobility scooter from a friend and it worked fine, even so it needed some work doing to the front of it so had to be taken apart. After putting it back together it won't go. He's checked wires etc, but no joy. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks in anticipation.

My mums has a reset button near the back which needs pressing to reset after electrical problems. See if he can find one and press it.

Oh dear - I did similar a few months ago - I took it to a local mobility centre for repair only to be told nothing could be done - as parts were no longer available. I had to abandon it and replace with a later model. Good luck with your problem

Thanks mojay. I think it's fairly new so should be able to get parts!? No doubt my husband will keep tinkering with it until he gets it started, but any help from people on here would be most welcome.

Hi Graham-W, he found the reset button and pressed it, but nothing. Thanks anyway.

Hubby says the left hand indicator won't work either. Does it need a new circuit breaker perhaps?
That 'has' to be a connection .. surely.
He should check all the connectors .. make sure none have trapped/shorted and popped a fuse maybe.

I'll tell him to do that AlBags, thanks.
The suspense is killing me. I've got to know. Did he ever get it working again?
