How do I get an avatar?

Gravatar works but the link to answebank seems to be abit slow.
Have you followed all the steps? It's essential you have the same password on Gravatar as you have on AB

Is yours showing on Gravatar?
Have you used teh same emaila ddress on Gravatar and AB?
Have you gone onto your AB profile to activate it?

Thanks factor30 but I'm not going to try Gravatar again - it created problems on the AB site for me. (See Technology/Question1080117)

Well you can set up avatars using sites other than Gravatar but they won't appear on Answerbank.
(Mind you, neither do Gravatar ones at present)

I've just visited the AB Suggestions page - I see AB has Gravatar problems - this answers my avatar query. Thanks all of you for your posts :)
