General help please.

I need to know of a website which gives the weather conditions for a particular day in a particular place.

This could have gone in any number of categories, so forgive me placing it here, it is rather important and needs to be a reliable source.

maybe try the Met Office site Mamy, usually quite accurate, well better than most anyway!..........

I have always found http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/ to be a good site for weather conditions

Ah I have been lazy with my wording, either that or I cannot work those sites (quite possible)- I need to be able to look back at a date and place and find what the weather 'was' doing then.

if u have a post code try met check its hit n miss whether its working or not but is very accurate

I always Accuweather ...very accurate :)
Just type in your postcode .it also has an arhtritis index which i find very useful

Scroll down to the name of the the nearest meteorological station in the list here:
http://www.tutiempo.n...nited_Kingdom/GB.html
Click on it to see if the relevant year is listed. (For some locations there are only a few years listed. For my local air base there's coverage from 1973 through to the present). If you don't find the right year, try another site nearby. Then click on the relevant month for a day-by-day record of the weather at that site.
