I fancy trying my hand at making my own cards this Christmas. Any suggestions of a good, preferably free program. I'm not tight but I soon lose patience and tend to give up after a couple of days if things do not go as I want/expect! TIA

Serif PagePlus is an excellent, easy-to-use, commercial DTP program, which can produce greetings cards and much, much more. The Starter Edition is completely free:

You can get a lot of free cards on the web and adapt them for your own use.
Also in M/Works there are plenty of designs to play with to make you own cards. Some of the free cards also have music if you wish.

Thanks a lot folks. Hopefully I can get a few done in time for the festering season. Sorry for the slow response - MOTD last night and the call of the garden this morning. Thanks again.
