I want to put an underlined link saying 'back to top' and one for 'next page' on each page of my website. Please can someone tell me in words of one syllable EXACTLY how to do it. Please assume that I know NOTHING. Thanks in advance.

I'd use a named anchor for the 'back to top' part ...

Back to top and next page is a really annoying way to build a website as it give no way to go directly to a single page without having to go through each page in turn. Personally I'd much rather see a direct link to each page individually. if your reasoning is to force people to read the pages in turn by all means include a next page as well as a direct link to all pages.

Sorry, you're correct, I didn't mean to include "back to top" in my statement. (it's early, and I've only had one coffee:))
