I also need a good telephone engineer to visit my house and sort things out.
Don't want to pay for BT to come in , they charge a bomb.
I have too many old phones and they don't all ring when they are all plugged in at the same time.
I have one modern cordless phone in the hallway and a 1950 Red Bakelite phone.
Bedroom 1 - 1935 Black Bakelite phone
Bedroom 2 - 1951 Ivory Bakelite phone
Office - 1937 Black Bakelite phone
Want I want is them to ring ...but I have too many REMS or something ....
I did buy a REM booster from Maplins last year for £50 ...but make no difference

Sorry to disappoint, but my only connection with BT was that I was once a supervisor in one of their call centres, which had nothing to do with telephones per se.

Going by memory I think the maximum rens per exchange line is 4..............the number of rens per phone used to be stamped somewhere on the phone.
