Have just taken a tray of delicious looking muffins out of the oven, then realised I have made them without any sugar at all!
Can anyone think of a reworked recipe, using cake crumbs, that I can make?
I used flour, oats, cocoa, butter, egg and sour milk.

Try mixing together what you have with some melted chocholate in a shallow tray.

Just pour some nice sweet custard over them, they will be fines :-)
I did that once many years ago. So, I crumbled the cake up, toasted it under the grill slightly. Then I put rhubarb that I had cooked into a dish, a little lemon zest over it, then the cake crumbs and some granulated sugar. I then finely grated a little butter on top and put it into the oven. Can't remember for how long. But, I took it out when it was golden brown on top, served it with double cream. You could also use vanilla ice cream. It was delicious!!!!! :o)
I think if I did it again though, I would uses poached pears (or canned ones) instead of the rhubarb.
Make some sweet butter cream, slice the tops off, spoon in the cream and turn them into butterfly muffins!

I don't think just adding something like custard or buttercream will do the trick, they need to be remade into something else. Just not sure how!
May be the basis for a flapjack?

Quassia's flapjack suggestion gave me an idea, so I breadcrumbed the lot of them and decided to treat it as rough flour & start all over again, adding butter/milk/baking powder/egg and of course sugar. That's when I discovered I have RUN OUT OF SUGAR! So, there is now in the mix the little bit of sugar in the sugar bowl,. a spoonful of Sweet&Low, and half a packet of dark muscovado. Either what is currently in the oven will be a masterpiece and everyone will ask for the recipe, or the chickens will eat well for a few days. Wish me luck.
<<<willing to be a guinea pig, it'll be tough, but i consider it a duty i'll be proud to undertake.

Here you go Boo - what do you think? Nice & crisp on top, but very crumbly underneath? Sweet enough but a bit oily? Yup, that's just what I thought! The chickens are out of luck.
