a) are you in the UK
b) what is your job
c) do you have a written contract of employment

??
boxy, no chance!
There are also other factors, if you are in England or Wales, you need a year's service as a qualifying employee to be able to claim for unfair dismissal and there is a 3 month time limit to claim (although some claims can be considered outside that in the Tribunal's discretion, however, there must be very good grounds for any claim being submitted out of time). You could get proper legal advice from a lawyer (some firms have a free initial appointment or run free legal surgeries for limited initial advice), ACAS or their local Citizen's Advice Bureau.
Why can`t employers give bad references?
