Cleaning the oven

What is the best (ie the easiest, half-ar$ed) way to clean the oven and the shelves. Haven't got space for my dish washer here so looking for other solutions. Thanks.

Cif oven cleaner doesa brilliant job and only takes a short time to get the oven sparlking clean.

I just use a brillo pad or one of those wiry silver thingumees. It usually gets it all off and then just wipe over the oven with a damp cloth

I soak the shelves in the sink with a dishwasher tablet in the hot water and use Lakeland gel on the rest. Clean, quick and no nasty smell.
