The second track sounds like Paul Mariat - Minuetto:

(I was just about to post Zamfir - The Lonely Shepherd for track 1, until I looked at defenstrate's link)

first one sounds like the pan pipes and the second i would take a guess at the harpsichord
InstrumenTALS ... not instuments!
I'd say the first one is either by Ennio Morricone or someone trying to sound like him, It's very like a piece he did in Once Apon a Time in America
sorry mis read however the link supply is right, it's called Einsamer Hirte
Don't know the first, although it's lovely.

The second sounds a bit like the ensemble Rondo Veneziano, although I don't recall them having a harpsichord in their line-up.
Yes Prudie .. just had a quick listen (all that I could bear, really)
It nicks the famous rift from Albinoni .. and is just a one off arrangement I thing. I don't think Morricone tho, but in that Western style.
Second one .. well what can I say ... Modern orchestral arrangement like a TV theme tune. Many writers a possibility. Like Last, Geoff Love, etc, etc, etc.
Sounds like watered down faceless 'elevator' music to me.

"The gentle sound of the pan pipes/harpsichord can't be bought in the shops, but it is available on a CD from this website ...BUT WAIT ! buy one and get a whole heap more of this muzack tripe absolutely freee!"
