This is my first application of Poly Colour (it was recommended on this site for 100% grey coverage which I desperately need!) my question is: would it be ok to mix the developer and colour in a bowl and apply with a brush to the root area instead of adding the colour to the developer and applying to the hair via the bottle as stated in the instructions?
I have always found using the bowl and brush give a more professional result but just wondered if anyone had used it this way for reasurrance.
Thanks x

yes, mix in a bowl & make sure its creamed sufficiently. Do roots around face frame first then onto scalp.

I usually give the bottle a really good shake after mixing, and use it as recommended, never had a problem using the bottle. Not sure how it would work if you had long hair but I have short hair.
Yes, but I mix it in the bottle first as stated then empty the contents into bowl. My hairdresser has done it this way as well with great results.
