so, these single mums on benefit, which benefit are you not happy that they get? Child Tax Credit? Working Tax Credit? Do you mean single mums who don't work because they have a baby to look after and are unemployed and so they claim income based unemployment benefit and housing tax credit and child benefit?
You'll have to be more specific as to which type of benefit these mothers are claiming. Are you saying that most are making invalid or fraudulent claims?
We have a welfare state, it is available to everyone who needs it.

I'm a single parant and have been since my daughter was 4, shes now in her first year at Uni reading Vet Med (shock horror, we can educate our kids too). I didn't ever have claim benifits because I was LUCKY enough to always have the support to be able to work, some single Mum's don't
