Ah, one more ... make sure you're using the 'Rich text' option and NOT the Plain text option (blue link opposite the Attach Files button) :-))

I use Yahoo and the only option I get is to "Attach" which makes it an ... attachment! So perhaps I can't do it. But thanks for your answers.
One solution ... if the image is hosted online (Imageshack, Photobucket etc etc) you can simply drag that image (or any image on the www) into the email text area.
I just tried it with your avatar ,,, dragged it to a Yahoo email and ''whee'' there it was, lol

I kept freezing and having to start up again. It almost seemed to work with one method with split screen - it showed the picture box but the picture wasn't displayed. I'll keep trying now I know it can be done (smile)!!! Thank you.
The picture might be too big? I don't know if there's a size limit.

Thanks Naz. Seems like it should be simple but maybe my settings for displaying pics are wrong. I shall investigate further.

That don't seem to work either, Naz (no options against Attach). But thanks for trying to help. Will continue to try to work it out. :-)
Here's how it works for me :-)
