I have just been convicted of ABH, after pleading not-guilty. Is there a possibility of appealing against this decision, or can you only appeal against the sentence?

You can't appeal against the conviction simply by asking that the same evidence be examined again. You would need to show, for example, that the prosecution had withheld relevant evidence or that the judge had not correctly instructed the jury. (i.e. you would need to find fault with the judicial process, not just with the verdict of the jury [or...

OK, so I guess not then. The judge was pretty fair- the jury went against his directions, which was a big shock. The police did not investigate certain CCTV, as they said that it had expired within 30 days. Thanks Chris.
