Theres nothing like a good cup of tea to start the day.
And one to continue it.
And one to wash down lunch.
And one to finish up the working day.
and one after dinner
and one befor bed.

Whats your favourite brand of tea?
How Many sugars?
How much milk?

My father used to put at least six teabags in the pot, you had to pull your cheeks apart it was so strong - I think that's why now I like my tea weak - and I acquired the no-milk habit from years with Scottish people.

Ummm - to the best of my Knowledge, Tesco use a UK sub-contractor who buys the tea from source (India, China, etc) and then blends and packs it in the UK.
Sunday 4.00 p.m. 1 cup of Tetley, strong, no sugar, a drop of milk
Otherwise it is coffee all day every day ;o)
Roobois (Redbush) tea is nice - something of an acquired taste, no milk preferable - but good for you (or so they say)
Earl Grey..
It's just that I was reading a book on supermarkets and Tesco tended to come out the baddie. That was over the disgusting rates they paid the farmers/contractors.
I have some Pakistani friends who make tea by emptying a can of condensed milk in to a saucepan, adding a load of sugar, followed by several teabags, and then boil it vigorously for ten minutes ...
It's a nice drink, but doesn't, in my opinion, actually qualify as tea.
Typhoo, milk no sugar.
I've had that, vagrant - you're right, not tea as we know it! Mint tea as made in North Africa is definitely worth a try, though.
Vagrant that sounds disgusting did you drink it all?
I like P G Tips too. like to take the tea-bag out before putting boiling water in and a splash of semi-skimmed milk , so that its golden. One sweetener. I like a lid to be put on the cup too to keep it hot longer. (in my house anyway)

If my H makes himself a cuppa he fills the cup with water puts in teabag pops it in micro wave to boil.

jem
ooops got that round my neck didn't I?

Meant to say I take the teabag out before I put the milk in - - doh!
I tried nearly every variety of tea but mine has to be Twinings Traditional Afternoon loose team made with spring water slowly simmer from cold for 10min then add a dash of organic milk with one table spoonful of brown sugar.

Can't stand the taste of tea bag dunk in cup of hot water.
"whats your favourite brand of tea?"

My own concoction of various herbs and spices.
