I'm with Dave on this one, Nessie. Never heard of it but I reckon you'd be better off saving your cash.

Buy him a bottle of his favourite Grouse, that'll sort him out. [:o)

If treatments like that worked they would be available on the NHS
What is it?
What does your husband not wearing a ring has to do with digitopuncture?
(sorry I mean no disrespect or to be rude)

Where is the pain? If it is somewhere that an adhesive pad can be placed then what about a T.E.N.S. machine?

hello mrs chappie i have heard dave talking about you how are you well i hope at the moment he is in a lot of pain with two slipped discs and i thought that as it is his eighty birthday soon i would buy that digitopuncture as a present it is a ring he would have to wear but he said no way his other thing he does not agree with is women with tatoos thank god i dont have one
I'm good, thanks Nessie ... hope you are too. Sorry to hear about Dave. How has he managed to slip two discs?
I don't think you can cure slipped discs with pressure relief? - what's his doc doing for him?. (Must say I agree with him about the tattoos, I can't stand them!)
He might get some relief from the pain if he lay on his back on the floor and rested the back of his lower legs on a chair.
It takes the pressure off the trapped nerve for a while.

I now understand Daneswalk, thank you. I hope you find some form of help to relieve your husband of the pain he encountering. Did your husband see a chiropractor? When you find a good experienced one, they can be a God-send. Physical therapy also can be extremely helpful in a case like your husband's. My brother-in-law has similar problem and goes to physical therapy a couple times for the week, and he said that he's about 75% recovered. All the best to you and your hubby.
Goodnight Nessie (and Dave).

Hope Dave's feeling better real soon. You take care Nessie. x
Take society's advice and get your husband to see a chiropractor, I had lower back problems for years and the national health could do nothing, fortunately my GP slight alternative /complementry leanings and suggested a chiropractor. After 3 or 4 sessions I have not had any problem for 25 years as he showed me how to fix it myself. Very easily
