Can anyone "vouch" for the performance of the Rug Doctor carpet cleaning machine? Also, any idea how much it costs to hire? I need to treat a "heavy traffic area" on a beige (ouch) carpet and wonder whether it's worthwhile hiring one. Thanx

Brilliant. Not cheap but worth the money. I use one about once or twice a year (and my carpets are beige). It's not so good on rugs (despite its name!!) cos they tend to ruckle up under machine and not so brilliant on red wine stains.... but they certainly freshen and clean well.

They are really good, we use them to clean the carpets where I work, easy to use and efficient!!

Cost: about £25 to hire for 24 hours. Plus the cost of the shampoo etc.

Excellent, thanks for that. Dont suppose you fancy popping round to give me a demo, seeing as you know how to use it!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
They are really good. I hired one for a beige carpet and it worked really well. Cheap also at around £25 per day. Then you would need to buy your own shampoo. Brilliant value for money though and easy to use.
