download problem via email

i am having a problem downloading items from my email. (Microsoft Outlook). For instance if I get an email in that gives me the options to win something my computer comes up wsith the message "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.

I have tried to find a solution to this but so far with no success.

I wonder if anyone out there can help me please.

Open internet explorer, click on the tools menu and select internet options, then click on the programs tab and click the "make default" button

Click OK and then try your links again. (BTW 99.99% of mails that say you've won something are a scam)
