92a nylghau - anagram of NY and laugh - I've finished about half of the xmas one and haven't started the new year one yet - I'll maybe get back to you!!
10a ANIMAL BIPES - anagram of man+is+able+i+p
OK, if you have others, see if you agree with these in the Xmas one:
2d EUROS only answer that fits, but why?
33d BASHED -- Bad (criminal) + she ?
94d CARE OF ?
Once you get on to N Year Xword, what about 15a -- Basic unit of ammo for Japanese army in WW2
K?I?E?B?N If Kaiserbun, what has it to do with Japanese ammo?
Question Author
Bilsuth, EUROS are plural or wallaroos. Agree with BASHED. 94D PAIR OF?. New year one not complete so didnt have 15A do have same letters K-I-E-B-N
Question Author
Many thanks to all who've helped me
94d can't be PAIR OF, 103a must be OMBRE (anag, EMBRO) so we have ?A?E ?F. I thought CARE OF (takes care of, care of another's address) was best shout.
Question Author
You might be right OMBRE can also be spelt OMBER and CARE OF does sound more plausible. Tks.
Glad some people are still working on this! Can anyone help me with 49a or 47d ?
49a Dreamt about the toe and the heels like Hamlet's ghost cap-a-pie (5, 2, 3, 5)
47d Quebec and 59 (7, 7)
ARMED TO THE TEETH (anag: dream, the toe, the) and CAPITAL LETTERS, Quebec and Lima capital cities and used in phonetic alphabet).
Question Author
How's everyone doing with the Newyear one?, I still need 23d (?I?A?) and 31a (I?A??) and 36d (?S?N?) if anyone can help.
In order, NIXON, IMAGO & BURNS. You mat have to Google the interlocking answers if you have them wrong.
I'm still not happy about 15a K?I?E?B?N
Question Author
Many thanks Bilsuth. KAISENBUN is correct and on Wikipedia. If you need any more help let me know. Thanks again.
