if i was to add another debit card to my paypal account on ebay, and then, when i buy something and pay by paypal how do they know which debit card i want the payment to come from?( hope this makes sense.)

If you have multiple cards associated with your PayPal account you can choose which to use for the transaction within the payment process.

As ABerrant says you can have more than one card registered and choose which one you want to use. I have two cards registered and use them both depending on where my funds are!

thankyou for your answers, so am i right in thinking that when you get to the end of the transaction and it says pay now, it will then ask which debit card i wish to use?

When you add cards to your PayPal account you must select one as the default. Whenever you click Pay Now and select PayPal as the method of payment you are taken to the webpage that lists your delivery details and the default card for payment. At this point you have the option to select another of your payment cards to use for the transaction.
