What Should I Do When Church Is Too Cold To Attend?

I went for Christmas carols to a new church, but we sat on cold wooden pews with no heat on. I, plus a few others who attended, (not many), sat with coats and scarves on all evening. I haven't been back, but should I get elsewhere?

You should buy and wear a battery operated heated body warmer, a scarf and a hat.

Don't forget the thick socks and warm boots.  

Sing the hymns with gusto. You will cope

Ask who the members of the PCC are and talk to a member about why the church is cold. If they are struggling for funding get some people together to do some fundraising toimprove the situation. The churchgoing flock is largely of the senior age group in many areas so may be diminishing for that reason.

Our Church boiler had packed up yesterday so it was cold. Normally it is a reasonable temperature.

Just wear some extra layers and a take a Thermos and hot water bottle

If it helps - I spent an hour in our now very cold church this afternoon, practising  for Epiphany service on the 7th (We 3 Kings etc.).  I wrapped up well, but a thermos and a cold keyboard don't go together!
