RAM is the amount storage space. Your phone may have 32GB of storage with the operating system taking up 12GB, photos 8GB, videos 10GB etc. Each app will also take up space and some get bigger and bigger over time. I find uninstalling them and reinstalling gets rid of the bulk saving space. Your phone will list everything with the amount of RAM used so you can see...

Did you copy rather than move ?

Or did you just change the location saved to in future ?
Check the storage in settings and you will see what is gobbling up all your space.
How much RAM does your phone have?

Thank you Barry for the complete explanation.
Have a lovely weekend:)
RAM stands for Random Access Memory (which differentiates from other types of computer memory which only allows you to see stored values in a particular order.)

It's pretty much the only computer memory you'll hear of these days. You use it to hold the programmes you are running, and to hold any data the programme needs. And these days, with things like mobiles not having a hard disk to store all your apps and suchlike, it is also used for that too. Your mobile will hold some RAM internally, and most mobiles now allow you to insert a memory card that holds more.
