I kept some seeds last year, when should I plant them and do I need to do anything to them first?

Plant them now as Monty Don has just planted his out (he sowed them in January) You could put them on some damp kitchen roll and put them in a clear bag and put somewhere warm and sunny it will help speed up germination

I would do as Red advises (or just soak them overnight in warm water) and pop them straight out where you want them to grow. I would normally wonder if you’re a bit late as mine are a fair size now but it’s only just warming up out there now so they will catch up.
