Another Corrie Question.

I noticed last night that Ryan Connor was quite upset when he was talking about the death of Johnny Connor.
Were they related and if so, how?

I'm trying to do a comparison with my own family, but I think the confusion is that Carla was Johnny Connor's daughter and she then married a Connor (Paul) who was Michelle's brother!
So I really can't get my head round it.
The nearest I can get is Carla is Ryan's aunt and Johnny was Carla's Dad, and I don't think I would be related to my Aunts Dad so I think Ryan was upset because he just liked Johnny.
I'm happy with that.

Michelle took the wrong baby(Ryan) home and raised him as her own. Johnny was her father's second cousin .It was a very complicated family.

Michelle's father Barry is Johnny's second cousin, so Johnny is Ryan's grandad's second cousin, or would be if Ryan was actually Michelle's son and not a cuckoo in the nest.
