Just read a report that opening the shops, cafes and pubs has failed to deliver the boost to the economy that's needed. Why do they print such tosh. Just out of interest did anyone on here expect it to? High numbers losing their jobs, some still on 80% and not knowing if their going to keep their jobs, but they expect the shops to be crammed full, and new car sales take off. Needless to mention they've only been open a few days.

OMG that's so funny, Nicola Sturgeon being accused of having a daily Prattle, coming from a full time daily prattler. well well well, how about that. The big difference is people are listening to NS prattle, and she's getting well paid for it. :0)))))))
The cost of doing business has gone up due to the extra effort and equipment required to comply with regulations and maintain safety. This will be the same all the way up the supply chain and costs get passed to the consumer. Lower footfall means that there less economy of scale for purchasing and lower revenues overall - I'd make the most of the £1.50 coffee and hopefully the place doesn't go bust.
LB, //It was moved from Chatterbank.\\
