If you google storing mincemeat, it says an airtight container that must be scrupulously clean, and suggests straight from the dishwasher. Doesn't stipulate glass jars.

The problem with Tupperware is that it can’t be sterilised as glass can so I don’t think it would keep for long.
What about Kilner(?) Jars?
Couldn't you sterlise the Tupperware with the stuff (Milton?) that they use for babies' bottles?

Isn't Tupperware porous? I should think that would be a no, no.
Can you ask neighbours if they've got any empty jars?
I seem to remember that when I used to make my Mils recipe, I let the flavours mingle and brew for about a week before putting in jars.*
*IF* I made it long enough before Christmas.
It's fine. I made some 2 years ago and stored it in an air tight tupperware box.
Plastic airtight containers will be fine.
You can freeze it very successfully.
