Am applying this message to help in obtaining the right product for me.

looking for a GPS tracker to track a person Internationally, With the person's consent, To request a meeting after several years, I inform you that I don't know which countries that person will go, and the communications will be Almost non-existent and unreliable.

You can get international trackers- we use one for someone, but it relies on a sim card or a subscription, I was asking if that will be possible in your situation. There are things like these:- https://www.brickhousesecurity.com/gps-trackers/international/

I'm so sorry about that, definitely keep emails they last a long time and are free,I thought it might be something like that which is why the idea of a subscription service worried me suggesting. I hope you find a way to keep in touch. x
Iphone/ipad have a feature called "Find My iPhone"

As long as you have signed into the App Store on the device, you can sign in with the same Apple ID on the second device to see the location of the first device.

I don't know if other phones have a similar feature.
