Bit like me and MrG, Jo.....he reckoned we met sitting next to each other at a meeting...I asked to borrow his pencil and promptly broke it in half......I don't remember but he says it was why he thought he had to get to know this bonkers woman better... :-)

I knew one expert bilker when I lived in a shared house - never bought a round (or much else really) - when eventually challenged over a particularly egregious fridge emptying he replied “Hey man - chill out - it was only a Yogurt”.

That pretty much cooked his goose and he never got bought a drink again - the sight of him sitting for hours with the regulation half-inch of beer in his pint pot was a joy - as was each round coming back from the bar without a new pint for him ...
