When we went to war with Germany in both World Wars all Germans (or of German descent - except for our Royal Family!) living in the UK were rounded up and put in internment camps for the duration of the war. What do we do now while we are at "war" with ISIS or whatever they are called now, we continue to let people in to this country where we have no idea of their...

>You say you hope that lessons will be learned about who we allow in, and I’m asking you what we should do about those who can’t produce identification, which many of these people can’t. It’s clearly an awkward question for you – but bearing in mind your solution to the problem, it’s a valid one.

I cannot be bothered with your games naomi. I know it's a cliche but I hope lessons will be learned. That's what I said. I'd be surprised if you disagree with that statement.

But why you think you can expect me to give up time to answer your questions that you introduce into threads to change the agenda is beyond me. AB is voluntary- we can answer when we like. Just because we choose not to answer doesn't mean we don't have an answer or that it is awkward for us to answer.
fiction-factory, //I know it's a cliche but I hope lessons will be learned. That's what I said.//

And you added “about who we allow in”.

Too difficult. Okay.
Your persistence is tiresome, naomi. I don't have as much time on my hands as you to play your games so I'll but if you want to make incorrect assumptions about me I'll just leave you to it.
fiction-factory, shoot the messenger as much as you like - it doesn't affect me - but since you refuse to answer the question your own post generated, I doubt my assumptions are incorrect.
Tiresome
Haha! Coward. ;o)
I feel terribly sorry for the foster parents.

TBH at their age they should be lauded for still being willing to foster. It definitely can't be easy at that age.

They have little influence over a 16 yr old especially if their is a language barrier and they have come to this country with the intention of enacting a terror event.

However it does show how children can be radicalised and sent off to die for the cause. Just because they are children doesn't mean they pose no danger.

I think that all the while we allow unaccompanied minors (some of which appear to be anything but) into the country just because they are minors means this will happen more. It is an easy route for the terrorists.

What the solution is I don't know but something does need to change to make us safer.

Had he been a bit more switched on he'd have built a nail bomb to partially detonate.
They're not regarded as terror related, apparently.

Now that I have read all the answers may I now take this opportunity to thank all those who were intelligent enough to understand the real meaning to my headline.

This migrant I believe arrived in our land in the back of a lorry, so he was an illegal from day one, so should not have even been considered to apply for asylum and therefore should have been returned immediately from whence he came.
Can you clarify what the real meaning of your headline was as I don't think anyone has really explained it?

May I return your words, with a few corrections to make sense?

I don't have as much time on my hands as you to play your games, so if you want to make incorrect assumptions about me, I'll just leave you to it.
Are you sure Guilbert ? My mother was German, born and bred in Dresden, she met my English father there when he was touring with Jack Hylton. She went over to England in the '30s, married my father and were in London during WW2. She was never rounded up and put into an internment camp. She always used to say everyone was lovely to her although she had quite a strong German accent.
The foster parents knew they had a troubled teen on their hands and had even told some of their neighbours .Surely they must have had some idea that he had fifteen guns in his bedroom and there was bomb making going on in the garden shed. Not everyone goes senile at the age of seventy . They are probably feeling guilty now that they didn't say something earlier.
When oh when will this country wake up to the threat of Islam? The leaders of Britain First have just been jailed for standing up for US! Meanwhile our politicians pussyfoot about for fear of upsetting Muslims.
The foster parents are blameless and only tried to meet a humanitarian need.
God help us when the lion roars and British people fight back because of the gutless politicians failing to protect us.
The Northern Ireland troubles will seem like a blip in comparison. Vote for security whenever you can.
>The leaders of Britain First have just been jailed for standing up for US!
Standing up for us? I think you have been misinformed. They were found guilty of religious hatred thought they had been found to have been abusive to members of the public, including shouting through letter boxes calling them things like paedophiles and foreigners, in a rather random way involving innocent people. Perhaps you wouldn't have minded but some must have found it frightening. They also risked damaging an important court case.

From one report:
"Both Fransen and Golding were convicted on a joint charge of religiously aggravated harassment after an incident last May at 555 Pizza takeaway in Ramsgate, when Fransen banged on the windows and doors of the shop and screamed "paedophile" and "foreigner".

However, in each case, they instead targeted innocent members of the public.

They filmed the abuse and then released it on social media and through the Britain First website.

They also posted offensive leaflets through the letterboxes of houses in the area where the defendants lived.

Paul Golding and Jayda Fransen arrived at the court with Britain First supporters
Giving evidence, Fransen had denied being a racist and said she had carried out campaigns against people accused of sex offences, while Mr Golding told the court he had often acted as her cameraman.

Fransen was convicted of abuse after visiting a house she wrongly believed to be the current address of Sershah Muslimyar, a defendant in the trial."
Yes. Well their anger boils over because the politicians are doing NOTHING!
Any wonder emotions run high and mistakes are made?
Now and then someone will post a video of a speech or statement from Jayda or Tommy, all smartly dressed and saying some stuff that lots of us can relate to.

Then days later they lose control and do something inane - they don't represent me.

They should learn to have control and use what energy they have sensibly.
The thrashing’s of the desperate. No one listening to the sounds of our once great nation choking to death. Sleep on, sleep deep.
