Thanks Danny, I see now, not a brilliant clue imho. Do you remember a week or so ago a link to The FT crossword was posted, well, at a loose end I did it and entered and won 2 books, The superior person's book of words and How to sound clever. How good is that, first time I did and FT crossword lol

Well done Dickie. I am beginning to hate this GK.I have one wrong again.24 d. is Turco and I put Turko which apparently wasn't accepted although Collins and Dioctionary .co show it as an alternative.

That's a bit of a pain, Chambers BRB has it as Turco, no Turko reference only Turkoman
