Why is it that I find men kissing each other a bit iffy?
Ive had several gay (male) friends in the past, I'm not homophobic in the least and would defend anyones rights to love who they want, but I still find that the sight of 2 men snogging in public a bit disturbing. Recently saw 2 girls having a snog in the park and didn't bother me a bit.
Am I alone in this?

I suspect that most people feel 'out of their comfort zone' with situations which they can't personally relate easily to. For example, someone who's been brought up in a wealthy, upper-middle-class home might not be prejudiced in any way against those who've had fewer advantages in life but still feel 'on edge' when surrounded solely by the type of people...

Jim yes I think so, under the same circumstances, i.e. in church. I didn't do it because they were gay I did it because we were in church and they were having a really serious snog making a lot of wet slobbery noises about it. They seemed to think it was funny and it was a good natured exchange.
